Every plan starts with a 1-day free trial. You approve the charge on Shopify's own screen - we never see your card.
Add the pincodes you want to run deals in, set the discount and a cap, then activate. One pincode goes live at a time and rotates on the timer you choose.
Online Store → Themes → Customize → Add block → flashpin. This is what shows shoppers which pincode is live right now.
Work through these in order - it's almost always one of the first two:
Is the pincode live right now? The dashboard shows which one is live and a countdown. The delivery address on the order has to match it exactly.
Is your subscription active? Campaigns stop when a subscription lapses. Check the Billing page.
Is the campaign activated, not just saved? A campaign sitting in draft does nothing.
Is the order above your minimum? Orders below the minimum you set don't qualify.
Still stuck - email us the order number and we'll tell you exactly why it didn't apply.
A shopper shares their referral link. If someone buys through it within the referral window, the sharer earns coins. Coins can then be spent on any future order, at any time - they're not tied to a pincode or a live deal.
Coins are held for a short period before they can be spent. That's deliberate: it means a refunded order doesn't leave you paying out on a sale that never happened.
Nothing is deleted. Campaigns stop and no new coins are earned, but every balance and every ledger entry stays exactly as it was. If you come back, your shoppers' coins are still there.
Open the Ledger page and search their order. Every coin a shopper has ever earned or spent is a separate line with a reason attached, so a balance can always be explained rather than guessed at.
If the ledger and the balance disagree, that's a bug and we want to know immediately.
Yes. flashpin's discounts are automatic and apply on top of your normal setup.
One thing to watch: if you name one of your own promotions something starting with "Flash Deal", our reporting may count it as ours. Give yours a different name.
Not yet. flashpin is built around Indian pincodes and rupee pricing. If you'd find it useful elsewhere, tell us - it helps us decide what to build.
Use Shopify's own customer data request or erasure tools. Shopify passes those to us automatically and we action them within 30 days.
We detach the identity and keep the amounts, so nothing links back to a person while your ledger still adds up. See the privacy policy.
Shopify admin → Settings → Apps and sales channels → flashpin → Uninstall. Your subscription cancels automatically. We delete your access token within 48 hours and everything else within 90 days.
